The school The Pila Ski School is situated in the homonymous spot, at an altitude of 1800 metres. The scenary is unique and marvellous wonderful. You can see and appreciate the highest summits of Europe, the most famous four thousand metres, Mt. Blanc, Matterhorn, Mt. Rose, Grand Combin, Grand Paradis. The ski school can be reached by car, only 30 minutes from Aosta, or by cableway. This one is very confortable because it takes half an hour to reach the ski slopes leaving for a large parking in Aosta, near the railway station and not far from the motorway. Pila is far 180 kms from Milan airport of Malpensa, and 120 kms from that of Turin, Caselle. The spot is easily reachable from France and Switzerland through the tunnels of the Mount Blanc and the Grand St.Bernard.
